EMPLOYMENT ADVICE

 

Initial appointments are arranged in order to identify all aspects of an enquiry, to deal with at once if appropriate, or to agree a course of action. A longer appointment will be made where a particular need is identified.

The service provides advice and representation to employees and workers in relation to most aspects of employment law including; unfair dismissal, discrimination, breach of contract, unpaid wages, minimum wage, holiday pay,  working time regulations and rights for parents (and other carers).We can normally write to employers on a client's behalf to try and negotiate a resolution to the problem. However, we cannot normally represent clients at internal disciplinary or grievance hearings.

We can assist in completing:

  • Employment Tribunal or County Court applications where necessary and appropriate
  • We can assist with litigation and represent at Employment Tribunals, Employment Appeal Tribunals and County Court
